Description.

Whenever I am struggling to find what to eat this becomes one of my favorites, is quick and easy, it can be as flavorful as you like and you can play around with the textures and ingredients, the best part is that you don’t need specific tools to make it and you will have a well balanced, breakfast, snack or dinner.

Ingredientes

1/4 cup old fashioned oats (around 20 grams)

1/3 cup of 2% milk (you can substitute for any milk you like)

5 grams of natural Peanut Butter (I use creamy Smucker’s)

2 ml maple syrup (honey, sugar or any other sweetener works)

75 grams greek strawberry yogurt oikos triple zero (you can use any yogurt you like)

20 grams frozen blueberries

25 grams frozen raspberries

25 grams sliced frozen strawberries

1/4 tbsp chia seeds (around 3 grams)

5 grams sliced toasted almonds

Optional

*3 grams coconut flakes

*chocolate chips

*sliced bananas

Preparation

In a bowl add the milk and microwave for 30 seconds, you can use the stove if you don’t have or like using the microwave.

Once your milk is warm, add the oats ( you can cook them for about 1 minute in the stove if you like yours soft) and add around 1/3 cup of hot water if you want a more liquid texture.

Add the peanut butter and mix.

Here is the fun part, you get to play with the setup of your ingredients, I like to add the yogurt on the side to have space to arrange my berries, or whatever fruit I am using, the almonds, chia and coconut flakes give me the opportunity to decorate the yogurt and give it a more fancy look.

To finalize this quick and easy recipe, drizzle your maple syrup on top and enjoy.

*I love using fresh fruit on this bowl but it is not always budget friendly, frozen works amazingly and that is why adding the hot water helps the fruit to get soft and the oatmeal is the perfect temperature.
